The Women of Flower Mound organization has had a great year with the successful Home for the Holidays December event, the February Wine tasting, the April Fashion Show and the May Banquet for our impressive 2015 Scholarship Winners. See the photos, above, for pictures from the recent banquet.  We welcomed new WoFM members this year, worked with new charitable organizations and,  as always, participated in the Santa Cops program.  Our monthly meetings had entertaining and informative programs that included a cooking demonstration, a fashion and make-up session, a performance by the Lake Cities Ballet, a demo by the Turner Martial Arts Studio, helpful hints on how to de-clutter your life and your home, a craft night where we made Halloween decorations, a white elephant holiday gift exchange and a tasty presentation about chocolate (samples included). Browse this web site to see photos from many of these activities and events.

WoFM does not have regular meetings in June and July, but we do participate in two upcoming events.  We participate and co-host the ‘Backing the Badge‘ community event (June 13, 2015) and the 4th of July Holiday celebration by the Town of Flower Mound.  For more information on Backing the Badge, visit the site:  http://summitclub.org/btb/info.html

Our kick-off for the new year and New Members Night will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Watch for more information as we get closer to August.   Think about joining Women of Flower Mound and expanding your friendships and community participation.

Women of Flower Mound Organization

The Women of Flower Mound (WOFM) is a non-profit, 501c(3) organization serving the needs of the community of Flower Mound, Texas since 1975, as well as allowing women to develop new friendships. The club is open to residents of Flower Mound and the surrounding communities.  Our regular meetings are September to May each year, with a New Members and Welcome Back meeting each August.   At the May meeting each year, the Board of Directors is elected for the coming year.

The primary goal of The Women of Flower Mound is to raise money to provide scholarships for Flower Mound graduating seniors. Our scholarship program was established in 1988.  Proceeds from our annual fashion show and other volunteer activities provide scholarships to graduating seniors. Donations from local businesses make the fashion show a great success each year.
