Assist VP of Membership in coordination of membership drives held twice a year, in September and January.
Scholarship
Assist in reviewing applications for current year.  Deliver application packets to area school counselors.  Assist in the review process to select current year scholarship recipients.
Easter Sunrise
Contact local donut shops for donations for the sunrise service on the Mound.  Work the morning of the service, assisting with setup and giving out donuts to participants.
Independence Day Children's Parade
Kids of all ages come with their bikes, tricycles, wagons and strollers decorated in red, white and blue to ride in the parade.  The Women of Flower Mound will join other volunteers to stuff over 3,000 hot dogs and and distributes them to the participants.

This is our main fundraiser for the year.  We will need people to help sell tickets to the show along with coordination of fashions and models.  Funds are raised through a silent auction.  We will contact local businesses to donate items for the auction.  There are many different volunteer opportunities to make this event a huge success.
Adopt-A-Family
Each year the organization chooses two families in the area that need assistance during the holiday season.  Counselors at the local schools give us the names of the families, and the committee is responsible for shopping and wrapping the gifts to be delivered for Christmas.
Holiday Stroll
Our organization does the Santa pictures each year at the Stroll, with proceeds going to our scholarship fund.  Volunteers help get the photo paper and ink donated from local office supply stores.  On the day of the event, we help the children onto Santa's lap and prepare the photos to be picked up.
Fall Festival
This event raises money for our scholarship fund by selling items to families attending the Fall Festival.  Volunteers prepare the items for sale and sell them on the day of the event.

In order for us to give back to the community, we partner with several other service organizations.  For example, volunteers will help at the Christian Community Action food pantry and also will regularly remove litter from our Adopt-a-Spot location.  Volunteer times and organizations vary.
